Here’s the dilemma; you’re really hungry but you want to stay healthy. You want to order the salad but you’re just not sure if it’s going to cut it. If a tiny plate of leaves appears in front of you you’re going to be bunched for the rest of the afternoon. The answer is Toss’d. Toss’d is serving colossal portions of salad in the newly buzzing CHQ building. The CHQ building is promoted as ‘The Social Heart of the IFSC’. Up to now it’s been more like a ghost estate than the social heart of anything. But a genius idea to line the central area with free seating has injected a new lease of life into this bright, modern space. It’s great to see the CHQ buzzing with the IFSC’s lunchtime crowd. It’s a bright, modern space that always looked like it had a lot of potential.
There’s a great range of food outlets to choose from too, including J2 Sushi, The Bakehouse, Ely, Insomnia and Starbucks. But we’re here for Toss’d, who may be serving the best salads in Dublin. The menu has a range of noodles or salad. If you go for a salad you can choose from seven ‘ready to go’ options or you can create your own from a choice of no less than 59 different ingredients. If you choose your own it’s made up freshly as you wait. The selection is immense, the ingredients are fresh and the portions are colossal. If you think healthy means rabbit food then this place will prove you wrong!
